Diagnostic Laboratory System

The Diagnostic Laboratory System is composed of four laboratories that are administratively housed within the College of Veterinary Medicine’s Department of Pathobiology & Population Medicine.  Through the network of these four laboratories, essential services in microbiology, anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, molecular diagnostics, serology and virology are provided.  All 82 counties in the state are served by the system.  Aproximately 70,000 case accessions requesting diagnostic services are received on an annual basis. The laboratory system is fully accredited by the American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians.

(Note:  For Cyclosporine T-cell function assays, please go to our Pharmacodynamic Laboratory web page.)
